The following challenge has been sent to the Princeton cricket club:

GENTLEMEN:- We wish, in behalf of the Harvard University Cricket Club, to challenge Princeton University to play a match game of cricket next spring at Princeton. If Princeton accepts, the date can be arranged later. Hoping we shall soon have a favorable reply, we are Yours very truly,
