Owing to the complications which arose in section five and owing to the dissatisfaction expressed at the idea of playing with six pairs in a section, it has become necessary to have three sections in the second round instead of two. Consequently, there will be two more rounds after this instead of one. It is, therefore, doubly necessary that matches be played off promptly.

Following are the drawings for the second round. All scores must be in by midnight Saturday, Feb. 22.

Section I.1. G. A. Davis and E. H. Davis.

2. W. S. Hobson and F. Heilig.

3. L. E. Bristol and P. R. Dean.

4. J. W. Peck and F. D. Morrill.

Section II.1. J. F. Crosby and J. T. Twombly.

2. G. R. Jenkins and S. C. Sellers.

3. D. C. Catlin and M. T. Baldwin.

4. R. B. Porter and E. B. Pratt.

Section III.1. M. G. Beaman and A. R. Campbell.

2. E. R. Jastram and B. B. Howard.

3. F. C. Thwaits and C. E. Whitmore.
