Delta Kappa Epsilon.

The annual meeting and dinner of the New England Alumni Association of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity took place at the Parker House, Tuesday evening.

General Francis A. Walker, Amherst, '60, presided and introduced as toastmaster, William H. Drury. Yale, '65, who announced that every member present would be called upon for a speech.

Mr. J. M. Marshall, Amherst, '53, advocated the building of a club house in Boston similar to that in New York, for the convenience of Boston members. L. S. Burchard, College of New York, '77, also spoke in favor of a club house, and gave an account of the formation of the D. K. E. Club of New York, and of its success, as well as of the methods by which it is carried on.

The chapter speeches were made by representatives of the University of California, Colby University, Bowdoin College, Brown University, Dartmouth College, and Yale University.

At the business meeting, which preceded the dinner, the following officers were elected: President, George A. Marden, Dartmouth '61; vice-presidents, Henry Cabot Lodge, Harvard, '75, Judge J. M. Barker, Williams, '60; executive committee, H. Burr Crandell, Williams, '54, Henry Hyde Smith, Bowdoin, '54, S. L. Powers, Dartmouth, '74, William A. Wood, Syracuse, '75, E. D. Silver, Brown, '83; secretary and treasurer, Elmer E. Silver, Brown, '85.
