The Christmas Trip of the Yale Glee and Banjo Clubs.

The Yale Glee and Banjo clubs will start on their annual Christmas trip next Monday. The two clubs, numbering together thirty-two men, will meet in Rochester at the Genesee Valley club on the 24th of December. That evening a concert will be given at the Plymouth Congregational church, after which the clubs will be entertained at the residence of W. D. Ellwanger, '76. On Christmas morning they will leave Rochester for Buffalo; that evening a concert will be given in Buffalo, and the clubs will be entertained at the residence of William E. Foster, '60. Leaving Buffalo on the morning of December 26, they will arrive in Cleveland at 10.45 a. m., where a concert will be given that evening in Case hall. At the close of the concert a reception will be tendered them at the home of W. A. Osborn, '93. On the evening of the 27th, they will attend the alumni dinner, given there, as the guests of the Cleveland Alumni association. That night they will leave for Chicago. While in Chicago the clubs will be entertained by the University club. On the evening of the 28th a concert will be given in Central Music hall. The clubs will spend Sunday in Chicago, leaving that night for St. Louis. A concert will be given there on Monday night in Entertainment hall, in the Exposition building, followed by a reception at the home of W. D. Simmons, '90. The following day will be spent in St. Louis, and in the evening the clubs will be entertained at the home of E. O. Stannard, jr., '92. They leave St. Louis on New Year's morning for Indianapolis, where a concert will be given on New Year's night. The next morning they leave for Dayton, where they give a concert in the Grand Opera house. On the following morning they leave Dayton and reach Cincinnati at 6.35 a. m., where they give a concert Wednesday night, January 3, at the Odeon. On the morning of January 4, they will leave Cincinnati and arrive at Pittsburg at 5.55 p. m. There they give a concert in the Pittsburg club theatre and will afterwards be entertained by the Pittsburg club. Sunday, January 5, will be spent by the clubs in Pittsburg. They will leave that evening for Scranton, where they give a concert on Monday, January 6. At the close of the concert the club will attend the annual banquet of Yale alumni, as their guests. The concert in Scranton will be the last one of the trip and leaving there they will arrive in New York on the morning of January 8, when they will disband.
