Thirty-five men presented themselves as candidates for the 'Varsity Banjo Club at the trials Monday and Tuesday evenings. The material is remarkably good, especially the guitars. The following men have been chosen for further trial: Banjeaurines, S. S. Hinds, A. H. Hildreth '96, W. W. Comfort '97, R. L. Barstow '98, R. B. Flershem '98, M. E. Stone '97; banjos, A. T. Barnes '98, V. D. Ely, E. L. Millard '98; guitars, D. Fales, Jr., S. Hazlett, J. S. Elliot '98, D. R. Brower, W. B. Johnson '97, J. D. Towner '98.
