HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
On Tuesday morning a social meeting of the Board of Overseers was held at 50 State street, with the Hon. Leverett Saltonslall in the chair, owing to the absence of the president. The purpose of the meeting was to consider the acts of the president and fellows at a recent meeting. A vote was taken and it resulted in favor of the acts which are as follows:
The establishment of a professorship of psychology. The appointment of William Francis Ganong. A. M., instructor in Botany for 1889-90. John Graham Brooks, D. B, instructor in Political Economy for 1889 90 Election of William Barker Hills, M. D., associate professor of Chemistry.
Reports were received from the following committees: On Electives, History, Political Economy, Fine Arts and Music.
