Harvard played Williams last Saturday on Jarvis, and won by a score of 41-0. The game was called at 3 p. m., Williams having the ball. A poor pass to Cox lost ground for Williams and Cumnock secured the ball. Fearing and Lee gained five yardt. Upton then made a good rush gaining several yards. Fearing again gained ground and was followed by a couple of good rushes by Lee aided by Trafford's blocking off. Williams secured the ball and attempted to kick but the ball was stopped and Upton dropped on it behind the goal line, scoring the first touchdown in eight minutes. Goal. Score 6-0. A bad pass lost Williams fifteen yards. The ball was then kicked and Crosby secured it. Harvard lost fifteen yards by Harding's poor pass and three downs were soon called. Upton, Fearing and Lee each gained ground, aided by good blocking by Trafford. Lee ran again but was forced outside. The ball was passed to Fearing who fumbled it but Cumnock regained it. Lee advanced two yards followed by a short rush by Blanchard. Lee and Fearing then made several rushes and gained fifteen yards. Trafford then tried to kick but was downed. The ball soon went to Williams and Cox kicked but Trafford returned it. Williams then gained but little ground and soon lost the ball to Harvard. Lee made a good rush but was forced outside. Harvard here lost five yards on a foul. Durand then made a good rush bringing the ball to the twenty-five yard line. Harvard secured the ball and gained twenty-five yards. Upton was then disqualified for slugging and Newell was substituted. The ball was secured by Williams and Vermilye gained five yards. Cox then kicked and the ball went to Harvard; After two downs were called Fearing and Lee made ten yards. The ball was then at the ten yard line and Lee soon scored. Goal. Score 12-0. Williams gained five yards but soon lost the ball on a fumble and Cranston secured it. Two downs were called and then Lee made a good rush bringing the ball to the ten yard line. Fearing gained a few yards but Williams secured the ball. They were soon forced to a safety. Score 14-0. Vermilye and Durand then made good rushes but Newell tackled well. Cox then rushed but was finely tackled by Cumnock. Cox kicked but the ball was stopped and Harvard secured it. Fearing made a rush of twenty yards followed by a short rush by Lee. Fearing was then forced over the line. Goal. Score 20-0. Vermilye made a long rush but was tackled by Fearing. Newell in attempting to tackle was hurt and Johnson took his place. Harvard soon secured the ball and Lee gained fifteen yards. Fearing no ground. Lee five yards, then Fearing lost the ball to Williams. Harvard quickly regained it and kicked, but Cox, returned and lost greund for Harvard. Lee and Fearing regained it by short rushes. Harvard was given five yards on a foul. Blanchard and Fearing rushed. A bad pass gave Williams the ball. Cranston tackled well and made Williams lose ground. Time was then called. Score 20-0. Fearing made a rush of thirty yards followed by a rush by Lee who scored in less than three minutes. Goal. Score 26-0. Williams got the ball on a fumble and Cox kicked. Harvard's ball. Lee by good dodging gained forty-five yards. Williams secured the ball, and kicked and Harvard regained it. Blanchard gained ground, but a poor pass gave Williams the ball. Durand rushed but was tackled by Cumnock. Harvard's ball. Crosby, Blanchard and Fearing rushed, but Williams secured the ball and kicked. Cumnock, Lee and Fearing gained five yards. Trafford kicked and Cranston followed the ball and secured a touchdown. No goal. Score 30-0. Williams gained a little ground by short rushes. Cox then kicked to Fearing. Blanchard and Lee gained five yards. Trafford then kicked and Williams was forced to make a safety. Score 32-0. Harvard secured the ball on four downs. Lee made a good rush, and then Trafford kicked a goal from the thirty-five yard line. Score 37-0. By bad passes Williams lost ground. Durand then made a rush of thirty yards but was tackled by Fearing. Vermilye rushed well, but was also tackled by Fearing. Harvard then secured the ball on four downs. Trafford kicked to Cox who was downed. After three more downs Cox kicked to Fearing. Lee then rushed thirty yards, and thirty yards more by Fearing took the ball over the line. No goal. Score 41-0. Williams made several short rushes but gained no ground. Cumnock tackled well. Lee secured the ball, but a poor pass of Harding's gave it to Williams again. Rowland made a good rush but was tackled by Cumnock. Harding secured the ball. Fearing rushed but lost the ball which Harding again secured. Trafford kicked but Cox returned it to Fearing. Neither side gained ground after this before time was called.
