Yale defeated Amherst at New Haven on Saturday by a score of fortytwo to nothing. Yale's playing has improved consiberably during the past week and the team has been materially strengthened by the addition of Wurtemberg, last year's quarter-back, who has gone into regular training. Yale scored eight touchdowns during the game, from five of which McClung, the fullback, kicked goals.

Technology and Brown played a game in Boston in the afternoon, in which Tech. succeeded in scoring 48 points to her opponent's nothing. Germer, Tech's captain, is still laid up.

The Phillips Exeter academy team defeated Cambridge High and Latin school at Exeter 76 to nothing-the largest score a preparatory school team has ever made against an eleven of the same class.
