Yale-Harvard Freshman Race.

The following letter was sent in reply to the challenge of the Yale freshman crew:-

Mr. A. H. SWAYNE, President and Captain of Yale Freshman Navy:

DEAR SIR: The challenge of the Yale freshman class to row an eight-oared two-mile straightaway race with the Harvard freshmen, at New London, next June, date to be mutually agreed upon hereafter, has been received, and is under consideration.

I shall inform you when anything definite has been decided upon.
