The good work of the Harvard nine on June 9th brought out on the day following Class-day a crowd of 7000 people. Most of these left the field disappointed at the poor work of the home team, while admiring the strong playing of the visitors. Bates pitched admirably for Harvard. Up to the last inning not an earned run was made by Yale. In the ninth Yale made six hits, bringing in four earned runs. The score:
