The '88 class day exercises at Phillips Exeter Academy were held Tuesday afternoon in the chapel. The programme comprised an address by the class president, M. F. Brooks; class history by T. W. Lamont; prophecy, C. H. Dow; poem, S. P. Duffield; oration, W. R. Buxton. The class numbered about sixty, being the largest class for a number of years A trophy cabinet was presented to the academy to be placed in the gymnasium. In the evening the usual ball and reception to the graduating class was held.
