The second of the class series was played yesterday between the seniors and juniors, resulting in a victory for the former. The game was poorly played by both teams, '89 excelling in the number of errors. Downer pitched a winning game for his nine, but the support given him was wretched, both in the field and at the bat. Magee and Downer did all the batting for the juniors. For '88, Bailey and Stetson played well in the field, while Allen and Holden excelled at the bat. McLean '90, umpired very acceptably to both nines, being strictly impartial and showing good judgment on close decisions. Eighty-nine plays the freshmen Thursday on Jarvis. The score:-
