At a meeting of the third-year class of the Harvard Law School, held April 11th, 1888, the following resolutions were adopted:-

Whereas, It has pleased an all-wise Providence to remove from our midst our friend and classmate, Edward Gerson Brooks; be it

Resolved, That we deeply feel the loss of one who, during the three years of our association with him, was ever a conscientions and faithful student, a kind and considerate friend.

Resolved, That we extend our heartfelt sympathy to his relatives in their affliction, and especially to the father and mother, to whom it was denied to be present at the death of an only son.

Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family, and that they be published in the DAILY CRIMSON. (Signed)
