The Cambridge-Oxford Race.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The annual boat race between Cambridge and Oxford takes place next Saturday, the 24th of March. It is thought that the contest will be a close one. Cambridge has a finer set of men and her crew is working very hard. But the Oxford crew row in better form than their rivals, and will have an advantage if the race is in a high wind. Their stroke is more effective in rough water than that of the Cambridge men.

The betting is in favor of the Cambridge crew at present; but unless there is a great improvement in their form during the next few days, Oxford will probably be the favorite in the race.
