Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
A series of athletic games has been arranged between the students of Yale and the men of the 21 Regiment, of Conn. The contests will be held at New Haven on the evenings of March 2 and 3. The arrangements have been extensive and the affair will be an undoubted success. A 16 lap track has been made in the armory. Two tug-of war contests, half-mile run, putting the shot, pole-vaulting, high kicking a bayonet race, standing high jump and fencing will comprise the first night's entertainment.
It is expected that a large number of Harvard men will compete in the mile run and putting the shot. Mr. J. C. Lee, who is at present the holder of the world's championship at high kicking, will try to break his record of 9 ft. 8 in. Samuel Crook, the famous jumper of Williams College, will endeavor to break the world's record in the broad jump.
The events of the second night will include the one-mile walk, 220-yards hurdle, obstacle race, potato race and quarter-mile run.
The referee of the games will be Mr. W. B. Curtis, of New York, George Goldie, N. Y. A. C., and G. L. M. Sachs, Manhattan A. C., will act as starters. The judges will be Lt.- Col. Doherty, of Waterbury, G. G. Haven, Jr., Yale, '87, and Mr. W. H. Ludington, Yale, '87.
