8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON:- According to the catalogue, the spring vacation begins on the Wednesday before Fast Day. Now, Fast Day comes this year on Thursday, April 5th-in Easter week that is-so that our vacation will not begin until the middle of Easter week. Why could not the faculty be induced to let us have the whole of Easter week? To those of us who live away from Boston, it is a pleasant thing to be able to pass Easter and the following week at home. Besides it makes a very fair break in the time between January 1st and July 1st. And why should Harvard cling so persistently to the old rule by which Fast Day regulates our vacation? Harvard has before this found occasion to consult the wishes of her undergraduates, and she has not regretted it. Could she not listen to this little appeal from A LAW SCHOOL MAN?
