The candidates for the lacrosse team have been prevented from regular field practice for some time owing to the cold weather. The squad work on the asphalt or in the Gymnasium, however, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Since the holidays most of last year's men have been resting, only the new candidates coming out every day. No regular games have been scheduled yet for the spring but scrub games will be played as soon as the ground becomes soft enough.

The following men are candidates for the team: Captain B. T. Burley '97, C. M. Woods '98, W. Abbe '98. F. L. Beecher '98, H. J. Wilder '98, F. B. Taylor '99, H. A. L. Sand 2 L., H. C. Ring '99, C.
