Trinity College Catalogue.

The annual catalogue of Trinity College has just been published. It shows that the number of undergraduates has increased and several new courses have been added, in practical work in the chemical and physical laboratories and in the observatory. An addition has been made to the list of scholarships, and the prizes which have heretofore been given in history and political science have been consolidated and will be given this year for the best examination in Broyce's Holy Roman Empire. Dr. Smith, the president, has been tendered the bishopric of Ohio, but as his presence could ill be spared, great pressure has been brought to bear to keep him at Hartford.
