The Preachers to the University have arranged especial services for the Christmas vacation for the benefit of men who are obliged to remain in Cambridge. These services are undertaken by our preachers with the single idea of making Christmas more pleasant to those who cannot get to their homes. This thoughtfulness ought to be appreciated, and Appleton Chapel should be well filled at each of the services.
On Sunnday evening, Dec. 23, Rev. Francis G. Peabody, D. D., will conduct the Christmas service. Great efforts will be made to present a musical programme of more than usual interest. In order that the choir may be up to the usual standard, Mr. Lock requests all students who can sing tenor or bass to attend the rehearsal in Appleton Chapel, Saturday morning, at 9 o'clock.
