Glee Club Concerts at Lowell and at Boston.

At five o'clock on Friday last the Glee Club went to Lowell. After supper at the Merrimac House, the club went to Huntington Hall where a fair was in progress for the benefit of the Old Ladies' Home of Lowell. The club sang at intervals during the evening. In spite of the fact that it was the first concert of the year and that there was a constant buzz of conversation in the booths where the sale of fancy articles was going on, the singing was excellent. After the concert, there was dancing until late in the evening. The Yorick Club kindly entertained the students before they returned to the hotel. The Glee Club came back to Cambridge early Saturday morning.

At the Jahrmarkt, held on Saturday evening in Mechanics Hall, Boston, in aid of the Woman's Industrial Association, the Glee Club sang before a very large audience. The club was placed somewhat at a disadvantage on account of the immense size of the hall and on account of the failure of the managers of the Jahrmarkt to provide a piano. The songs of the club were enthusiastically received and several encores were demanded. The waltz song, Estudiantina" seemed to be the favorite.
