The board of Trustees at Cornell University have decided to erect a new chemical laboratory and have appropriated $80,000 from the permanent funds of the university for this purpose. The great increase in the number of student during the past few years has made the new building a necessity. This laboratory, will be begun at once and will be the fourth building which is in progress on the Cornell campus. The trustees on the Cornell campus. The trustees have also appropriated $40,000 to complete the engineering building. They have decided to name the physical laboratory Lincoln Hall.
