The Freshmen, owing to the crippled condition of four of their best players, made a rather poor showing, Andover outplaying them in both halves.

Time was called at about half-past three, Andover having the ball. At first the play on both sides was rather slow, with no large gains for either side. Soon, however, the ball began to be forced towards Harvard's goal and Mowry made the first touchdown for Andover. No goal. Five minutes later, Bliss secured the second touchdown from which Coxe kicked a goal. Score, 10-0. During the remainder of the half, nothing more was scored.

In the second half, the freshmen started off with the ball but gained very little. After about ten minute's play without any great gain for either team, Coxe succeeded in making the first touchdown of this half. No goal. Andover, 14; Freshmen, O. This score stood till about fifteen minutes from the end of the game, when Andover began to run up the score, making four touchdowns in the last few minutes. The first was made by Bliss; no goal; second by Sprague, goal kicked by Bliss; third by Bliss; no goal; fourth by Owsley; no goal. Time was called about two minutes after the last touchdown. The following were the teams:
