The match between P. S. Sears and Tallant yesterday morning resulted in a victory for the former by the follow score: 6-1; 6-3; 6-8; 8-6. In the afternoon Tallant played Brown, but the former was handicapped by fatigue from the morning sets. Brown won two sets, 6-1; 6-4. P. S. Sears will represent the college at New Haven with the winner in the games played between Brown and Shaw today.
In the doubles yesterday Sears and Shaw beat Tailer and Chase three sets to one.
