The Yale 'varsity crew has ordered a new paper shell from Waters. It will be sixty feet long and twenty inches wide-similar to the boat in which the eight rowed last year.
Of last year's crew, Johnson bow, Messler 2, Rogers 4, and Longacre 6, are at work. Goetchins, the only other man still in college who rowed last year, will not row this year. The other men trying are: Beard, Sanford, Cross, Treadway, Brown, Holcomb, Knapp, Smith, Skinner, Dater, Kinney, Price, Wade, Chadwick, and Lowndes.
