The tournament for the Harvard championship was continued yesterday. Following are the scores:-
IN THE FIRST ROUND.
R. B. Hale beat R. D. Brown, 6-1, 6-4.
Lee beat Brooks, 6-3, 6-3.
Shaw beat J. S. Codman, 7-5, 6-2.
IN THE THIRD ROUND.
Chase beat R. B. Hale, 6-1, 6-4.
Rain interrupted further play in the singles. Lee and Shaw are now left and the winner is to play Chase.
Play was also begun in doubles.
IN THE PRELIMINARY ROUND.
Orcutt and Potter beat Wilder and Wrenn, 15-13, 6-4.
Lee and Tallant beat Brown and Sturgis, 6-3, 6-4.
Rain interfered with the doubles also. The remainder of the third round and the finals in singles will be played today.
