Petitions Regarding Absences.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The secretary has posted the following notice:

"The attention of students is called to the Regulations, Sections 36 and 3: Notice of leaving town need not be given in person.

Physicians' certificates in order to be satisfactory must state the nature of the illness in question. Failure to give required notice is cause for not granting a petition."

It is understood that the object of the new provision in regard to physicians' certificates has been established in order to make students who are compelled to be absent on account of illness give their excuse in their own authority and not base their assertion on a doctor's certificate.
