A SHORT SKETCH OF ITS PAST HISTORY AND ITS PRESENT PROSPECTS.

The fall series of shotgun matches opens this afternoon, under the following conditions :

MATCH A. 10 clay birds, thrown at 5 angles, 16 yards rise. Open to all members.

MATCH B. Same conditions as above, except that former prize winners are barred.

MATCH C. 10 glass balls, thrown at 5 angles, 18 yards rise. Open to freshman members of the club who have never won a club prize.

In each of the above matches cups will be offered as first prizes; silver medals as second. Entry fee, 25 cents to each event. These prizes are to be shot for at four competitions, beginning today, and will be awarded to the competitor making the highest aggregate on three scores. Ties will be decided by shooting a full string of ten shots. Members are asked to preserve this programme, as it will not be published again. The car leaves Harvard Square for Watertown at 2 P. M. sharp.
