University Chess Club Tournament.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University Chess Club voted at its last meeting to offer a prize to be competed for by all mbers of the University in a chess tournament. It will consist of a handsome set of chess men. There will also be a second prize. A book has been placed at Bartletts for entries, in which will be found the rules under which the tournament will be played. The entrance fee is only twenty-five cents, so it is hoped the number of entries will be large, and that they will be made as soon as possible, since it is desirable that the tournament should begin at once. The winner of the tournament will have the right to challenge the present champion of the club to play for championship of the University.
