Tailer beat W. Kingsley, by default.

G. Kingsley beat Pingree, 6-1, 6-2.

Hale beat J. S. Brown, 6-3, 6-0.

Sturgis beat Parker, 7-5, 6-4.

Brooks beat J. Codman, 6-2, 6-1.

Lee beat Wildes, 6-3, 6-3.

Jennings beat Orcutt, 6-1, 8-6.

IN THE SECOND ROUND.

Chase beat F. Brown, 6-4, 6-2.

Richardson beat Nicholls, 6-0, 6-0.

Brown beat Tailer, 9-7, 6-2.

Hale beat G. Kingsley, 6-4, 6-3.

Brooks beat Sturgis, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.
