The Mass Meeting.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Whereas the faculty of Harvard College has delegated the maintenance of order in the college yard,

Resolved, That we, the students in mass-meeting assembled, do accept this trust in full appreciation of its meaning, and devote to use our influence to suppress disturbances of all kinds in the college yard.

Resolved, That while we would not discourage proper and enthusiastic celebrations of athletic victories, we do condemn the building of bonfires in the yard, and the continuance of noisy celebrations beyond a reasonable hour.

Resolved, That we do appoint a committee, chosen on the same basis as is the present Conference Committee, to execute in our name and with our hearty support, all necessary measures which we declare that the prevailing college sentiment demands.

It was voted that an election be held Tuesday, May 25, and that hereafter the election be held at the same time and place as for the Conference Committee.
