H. R. Simonds beat C. B. Smith, 6-0, 6-4.
The semi-finals will be played today as follows:
R. C. Thomas plays winner of H. J. Holt and J. B. Read at 2.30.
J. H. Chase vs. H. R. Simonds at 3.30.
