Burgess, the 'Varsity right fielder, severely sprained his ankle yesterday by stepping on a ball during preliminary practice.

At a meeting of the members of the Glee Club last night J. L. Valentine '98 was elected vice-president. It was also decided to cut down the number of men to six on each part before the spring concert.

Dr. G. A. Reisner delivered a lecture last evening in the Fogg Art Musum on "Babylonia in the Fourth Millenium B. C." Dr. Reisner read many extracts from the tablets of the Babylonians and classed his lecture with a series of stereopticon views in illustration of the tablets as we have them today.

The Freshman Debating Club will hold the second of the competitive debates in Sever 11, this evening at 7 o'clock. Twenty men will speak and the judges will select ten who may enter the final contest. These ten speakers will be eligible for membership in the Forum or Union without further trial. Question, "Resolved, That an income tax is a desirable part of a scheme of taxation."
