EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON. - In these days of ice, snow, and water, a trip across the yard is a dangerous undertaking; if a man succeeds in wading safely through the numerous puddles, the chances are that he will be overwhelmed by falling snow and ice.
As I was passing Stoughton last Friday night, one of these avalanches struck me, but fortunately, as I had an umbrella up, no great harm was done.
If the authorities who are so solicitous concerning the welfare of our eyes, would have a little more regard for the safety of our heads during these winter thaws, their fostering care would be much more highly appreciated.
