The Class Crews.

The only crews to appear on the river yesterday were the sophomore, junior and senior crews. The freshmen and 'varsity are still crippled by the loss of several men who have not yet recovered from their illness.

In the sophomore boat Keenan changed places with Phelps at No. 3. Goodnough coached from the launch. The juniors rowed in their accustomed order: Stroke, Kales; 7, Forbes; 6, Stillman; 5, Daly; 4, C. Brewer; 3, Fairchild; 2, Howland; bow, Mann.

The seniors have had the hardest luck in the loss of their stroke, C. S. Pierce, who is ill with scarlet fever. F. Davis, who stroked the '95 crew in its freshman and sophomore years, stroked the boat yesterday afternoon. It is probable that he will remain at stroke during the rest of the season.
