Tho first game for the class championship took place yesterday, between '88 and '89, resulting in a victory for the former by a score of 9 to 3. '89 batted hard but failed to bunch their hits, except in the sixth inning, when they earned a run on a double by Litch field, and a triple by Bingham. '88 fielded well. The catching of Jones and a fine left handed catch by Morgan were the features of the game.
