In spite of the unfavorable weather a good number of marksmen assembled at the Watertown range yesterday. This was the third and last shoot in the matches which have been running during the past three weeks. The shooting in these matches, including the freshman match was remarkably good. In match B, Mead and Slocum tied with scores of 19 out of 20. The leading scores in yesterday's shoot were as follows: Match A (doubles), F. B. Austin, 9; Palmer, 6; Mead, 5. Match B. (singles), Palmer, Slocum, 9; Clyde, F. B. Austin, Mead, Greene, 6. Match C, (freshmen), Grew, 8; Walsh, 7; Greene, 4. Practice, F. B. Austin, 9; Slocum, Clyde, 8; Mead, 7.
The winners in the matches were as follows: Match A. 1st, F. B. Austin, 15; 2d, F. S. Palmer, 14. Match B. 1st, W. H. Slocum, 19; 2d, F. S. Palmer, 18. Match C (freshmen). 1st, R. de W. Walsh 15; 2d, E. W. Grew, 14.
