The game was called at 3.15 in the midst of a pouring rain. Andover won the toss and took the lower goal. During the first twenty minutes there was fumbling on both sides, and the ball was most of the time in Harvard's territory till Hunnewell carried it well up the field. Here it was lost, however, and Andover carried it back again, Mowry making a touchdown, from which a difficult goal was kicked. Harvard now braced up a little, rushed the ball down the field, and Magoun made a touchdown. No goal and time called with the ball in Andover's 25-yard line. Harvard was demoralized in the second half, and the ball remained near her goal most of the time. Here, Shaw of the Ando ver team, made a touchdown from an error of Slade's, and another goal was scored. Denneston made another touchdown, from which no goal was kicked, and Slade was forced to make a safety just before time was called, the score standing, Andover, 18; Harvard, 4. The Harvard team was: Rushers, Magoun, Gay, Piper, Dexter, (centre), Richards, Page, Crehore; quarter-back, Crane; half-backs, Hunnewell and Slade; full back, Higginson, (capt.) The Andover team was the same as that which played against the 'varsity.
