Appleton Chapel, 7.30 p. m. Prof. William Lawrence. (The front pews will be reserved for members of the University until 7.30).

Week-day morning prayers at 8.45 a. m. No seats are assigned, either for officers or classes.

Rev. William Lawrence will conduct prayers from January 27 to February 15.

The preacher conducting morning prayers may be found at Wadsworth House 1 every week-day during his term of service.

Mr. Lawrence may be found at Wadsworth house 1, every week-day from 9 till 11 a. m.

COLLEGE MIDYEAR EXAMINATIONS.The midyear examinations close on Saturday, February 8.

CHAMBER CONCERTS.The second chamber concert of the Kneisel Quartet will be given on Thursday evening, January 30, at 8 o'clock. The programme is as follows:

Quartet in D minor, op. 76, J. Haydn. Allegro. Andante e piutosto allegretto Menuetto (Allegro, ma non troppo). Finale, vivace assai.

Second movement from Quartet G minor, E. Grieg.

Quartet, C minor op. 18, L. L. Van Beethoven. Allegro ma non tanto. Scherzo (Andante scherzoso) quasi allegretto. Menuetto (allegretto). Allegro.

ENGLISH B.Theme V., corrected or rewritten, may be handed back at any time before Saturday, February 8.

Theme VII., a literary criticism, will be due on Tuesday, February 18.

MISCELLANEOUS.The Museum of Comparative Zoology the Peabody Museum of Archxology, and the Mineralogical Museum in Boylston Hall, are open to the public every week-day from 9 till 5.

The Botanic Garden is open Sundays as well as week days.

The library in Gore Hall is open Sundays during term-time from 1 till 5 o'clock for the use of members of the university only.

The rooms of the Fine Arts department in Sever hall are open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 5 o'clock.
