A special meeting of the Board of Overseers was held yesterday morning. It was voted by the board to concur with the President and Fellows in their votes, reappointing Edward Cummings, A. M., assistant professor of sociology for five years from Sept. 1, 1898, and in appointing C. H. C. Wright, A. B., instructor in French from Sept. 1, 1898.
The resignation of Edward W. Hooper, as Treasurer, was presented.
The question of the requirements for admission was discussed but nothing definite decided.
