The freshmen played their fourth game on Saturday and are to be congratulated on the improvement shown in the playing of the nine. The batting, which heretofore has been weak, was considerably better. Holden, Hallowell and Stetson doing the best work. Exeter scored three runs in the first inning, but were able to make but one run more owing to the sharp playing of the freshmen. Jones, Palmer and Frost did the best work for the freshmen, and Moulton and Dana for Exeter. Jones' catching was remarkably fine.
