EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON. - Dear Sirs: A statement, similar to that which appeared in the CRIMSON on Saturday last, was made in a New York publication a few days ago. I sent a correction to the New York editor which he published in the next issue.
I thought that you would be glad to know that the Corporation and faculty of Harvard College lost no time after receiving the Tyndall trust, in making rules for its administration*. Mr. Brogan of the class of 1885 was selected to enjoy its advantages, and was in Europe pursuing the appropriate studies before Columbia College had begun to move in the matter.
Very respectfully,J. LOVERING.*Catalogue for 1885-6, page 259.
