The distance runners yesterday. were given time trials on the board track. As the men have only been training for a week they did not run their full distances, but the mile men ran a quarter, and the half milers an eighth. For so early in the season the times were fairly good, the fastest quarter being run in 57 1-2 sec., and the fastest eighth in 25 3-8 sec.
