The meeting of the committee to decide on the formation of another prayer petition was held in 33 Matthews last evening. The committee was represented by the following gentlemen: From '86, O. B. Roberts, H. LaMonte, W. D. Brewer; from '87, F. S, Coolidge, G. P. Furber, E. H. Rogers; from '88, R. H. Fuller, W. Barnes, Jr., L. McK. Garrison; and from '89, P. D. Trafford, G. T. Keyes, B, C. Weld, W. G. Rantoul, E. W. Grew. The following gentlemen were unable to appear for various reasons; from '86, J. H. Huddleston, A. D. Claflin, A. H. Vogel; from '87, G. A. Morrison, E. J. Weeks, F. E. E. Hamilton; from '88, M. H. Clyde, W. D. Bancroft, G. A. Carpenter; from '89, W. S. Scott. Mr. Roberts was elected president of the meeting, and Mr. Garrison, secretary and treasurer. After an interesting discussion, it was decided that the petition will be circulated this year through the year. On motion of Mr. Furber, the chair was empowered to select a committee of five to draw up the petition, and report at the next meeting, which will occur the first part of next week. The committee is as follows:- Messrs. Roberts, '86, ex-officio, Huddleston, '86, Furber, '87, Garrison, '88, and Trafford, '89. Adjourned.
