Hare and Hounds.

The run yesterday was thoroughly successful. The scent was very well laid by the hares, H. Page, '88, and W. Wells, '90, who started at 3.33 and were followed at 3.40 by the hounds, under the leadership of F. B. Dana, '88. Page and Wells arrived at the gymnasium at 4.49. The first two hounds, C. A. Davenport, '90, and Dana, second by a few yards, arrived only ten minutes after the hares, and therefore won the run. The course was round Beacon Park, through the grounds of the Hawthorn to the Brighton slaughter houses, then by the west end of Mt. Auburn round Fresh Pond home. The brake was made at the corner of Brattle and Fairweather streets.
