A number of freshmen assembled in the rowing room of the gymnasium, yesterday afternoon, and organized a lacrosse team. A. C. Bent was elected provisional captain, and the following men signified their intention of playing: F. H: Bent, M. A. Kilvert, A. C. Robinson, C. N. Wells, G. E. Turnure, J. G. King, C. Hunneman, H. E. Meeker, A. M. Baker, and S. P. Butters. Capt. Hood of the university club gave the men some advice as to the purchase and care of sticks, and promised to give them any help he could in the future.
