The first permanent college conference is now definitely assured. The polls were kept open from 9 to 5 yesterday, and the following students were elected as representatives of their classmates.

From '87: -
F. S. Coolidge,
H. E. Peabody,
W. C. Herron,
G. P. Furber.
From '88: -
E. R. Thayer,
F. B. Lund,
L. McK. Garrison.
The first meeting of this conference will be held within a short time. This feature of co-operation with the faculty is an experiment. The committee elected will continue in office for the remainder of the year. Two freshman delegates will be elected in the second week after the Christmas recess. Two members at large from the college will be added to this committee at its first meeting.
