The New York State College-championship tourney appears, from all accounts, to be a very discreditably conducted contest; for, while the Cornell University club has been playing legitimately, the Hamilton and Union College club teams, as well as that of Hobart College, employ professionals to help them win, and the Rochester University club goes outside of the institution for players.
