Billionaire Investor Gerald Chan Under Scrutiny for Neglect of Historic Harvard Square Theater
In the death of Reuben Whittle Lovering we have lost one of our most promising classmates. He was a man of remarkable parts, excelling in all that he undertook. He combined great brilliancy with great depth of intellect, and with his great power of application, he was easily one of the best scholars in the class. He was a man of whom no unkind word could ever be spoken. He was alike generous, kind, and of untiring energy.
All who came in contact with him were struck by his straightforward, open ways, and by the interest he showed in the welfare of his friends and in all college matters. We deeply regret our loss and desire to express our sincere sympathy to his family in their affliction.
The class of '84.
