The college is to be congratulated on receiving the large bequest donated by the late George B. Dorr of Boston. The entire sum is given without restriction, so that it may be used in any way the authorities desire. We would suggest that the money be added to the contingency fund, so that when needed improvements are called for there may be no chance for refusing them on the score of a limited sum for running expenses.
