HARVARD SHOOTING CLUB.

The members of the club held their first shoot on the Watertown grounds Saturday morning. The time chosen for the matches was unfortunate, as but eight men were able to leave their recitations and attend. The shooting was fair but showed lack of training on the part of the majority. Following is the summary:

Match 1.-7 glass balls, at 18 yards. First, Slocum, '86 ; W. Austin, '87. Second, Palmer, '87; F. Austin, '86; W. Allen, '86. Third, Tweddle. Sp. S.

Match 2.-5 birds, 18 yards. First, Slocum, Tweddle, Allen. Second, Frye, F. Austin. Third, Palmer, J. S. Wright, S. S.

Match 3.-5 balls, 18 yards. First, Slocum, Frye, Palmer, F. Austin. Second, Allen. Third, Tweddle, Wright, W. Austin.

Match 4.-7 birds, 16 yards. First, F. Austin, Allen. Second, Slocum, Frye, Palmer, W. Austin. Third, Tweddle, Wright.

The badge for the best aggregate in the above matches was won by W. H. Slocum. After the regular matches were completed, two supplementary matches were shot, resulting as follows:

Match 5-7 glass balls, 18 yards. First, Allen, Slocum. Second, F. Austin. Third, Palmer.

Match 6.-5 birds, 16 yards. First, Allen. Second, Slocum, W. Austin. Third, Frye.
